Barb’s professional history reflects clear and progressive growth within private, government and nonprofit organizations ranging from financial, media and entertainment to provincial and municipal governments.  She has over 15 years of successful corporate leadership, having managed significant components of key projects including mergers and acquisitions, change management, public relations and information technology driven projects.  She excels working with processes to strategically align organizational priorities, displays impeccable financial management and has repeatedly demonstrated measurable results, with a focus on collaborative teamwork and problem solving.

Her passion is well managed, flawlessly executed change management initiatives; building turnkey communication strategies that effectively engage both internal and external audiences through the unique use of simple tools and straightforward messages and she is recognized as an influential leader, mentor and advisor  who implements continuous improvement practices while promoting a culture of excellence.

Barb has developed functional structures for industry leading corporations resulting in measurable gains in employee engagement and increased value to stakeholders. She was honoured with a Gold Quill Award for peer leadership and member communication strategies by the International Association of Business Communicator’s. She has a well-established record of success enhancing productivity, increasing access and utilization of information and improving efficiency and profitability.  A strong business acumen and insightful leadership was instrumental in the successful development of high performance teams and the restructuring of a company with assets of $4 Billion.

Barb is an Executive MBA graduate and an Accredited Business Communicator with certification in PROSCI’s Change Management methodology.  She is a member of the Faculty of Business at the University of Regina and works with a variety of clients in the areas of strategic communications, creating meaningful customer experiences, building strong customer relationships and marketing plans, stakeholder and employee engagement, change management, facilitation, and often acts as a trusted advisor on confidential matters.
